Welcome to Gastro School - Eat to Learn

Gastro School working with schools and colleges can ensure that young people experience a broad and diverse curriculum through implementing the holistic principles of hospitality and catering education.

This is achieved by teaching in union with students own experiences which enables the use of broader societal factors using Gastro School’s motto ‘ Eat to Learn’

This is particularly relevant in areas of regeneration. Cooking and eating together is a proven means of achieving a ‘common’ starting point that can then enable students to achieve a range of goals

A new culinary curriculum for 2011 supports the 'life' transferable skills needed for all employers, Students through this style of teaching will grasp the interactions necessary for any successful career.

The School is a unique experience where the world of professional cookery and the hospitality industry meets education.

The service is at the forefront of providing information advice and guidance to schools and colleges to meet the needs and trends of current government policy

Improve coherence between subjects
Reduce the overall level of prescription; and
