Screening for gastrointestinal disorders is available e.g. Heliobacter (implicated in ulcer disease) and endoscopic screening for large bowel cancer.

The investigation of liver, gall bladder disease and general abdominal pain is available; ultrasound scans may be performed at Greenwich Medical Chambers to investigate the causes of such symptoms
