Patients are seen by our friendly team of Gynaecologists and female support staff, using the latest equipment which allows diagnosis and treatment of many gynaecological complaints.

Urinary Incontinence/Post childbirth problems: Treatment by our physiotherapist may be all that is required. Alternatively, the problem can be identified by specialist investigation of the bladder by our consultant urologist.

Smears: Tests are performed by our Consultants or female nurse using Liquid Based Cytology (Thin-Prep), the very latest in smear technology. Results are usually available within 48 hours.

Abnormal Smears: We offer a speedy investigative service and minor out-patient treatment service.

Period Problems: Why suffer in silence? Combined specialist advice and investigations are available at the same visit.

Contraception: Appointments consist of discussing the various options available and specialist advice.  Coils may be fitted at the same time if desired.

Early Pregnancy Problems: Patients experiencing pain or bleeding in early pregnancy often require immediate re-assurance. Same day appointments/scans are usually available where an experienced member of our staff will carry out an investigation to ascertain the problem.  

Infertility Advice: Couples experiencing difficulty conceiving can receive immediate advice and counselling from our consultant.  This includes specialist advice on the different treatment options available.
